Danville Seventh-Day Adventist Church
Mission Statement
The mission of the Danville Seventh-day Adventist Church is to help prepare for the return of Jesus by sharing the everlasting gospel through preaching and teaching, and to model the love of Christ through service to those in need.
Vision Statement
We envision a unified church moving forward under the Holy Spirit's guidance as "laborers together with God" preparing our community for the soon coming of Jesus Christ.
Eph 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”
Seventh Day Adventists believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and love and uphold God’s Commandments:
John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.” Jesus said these words to his followers.
2John 1:6 “And this is love, that we walk after His commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.”
Re 12:17 “And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”
Re 14:12 “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”
Re 22:14 “Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”
Before an in-depth study into God’s Commandments, it is helpful to know what the entire Bible states (including the first eleven chapters of Genesis regarding the creation of the world) is scientifically accurate and believable.
